The SECO 03084144 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance material removal in demanding applications. The 03084144 is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with compatible straight-cylindrical shank toolholders. Its primary material applications include stainless steel, superalloys and titanium, and hard materials — categories identified by ISO material codes M, S, and H. The 2.5 inch overall length and 1/4 inch straight shank make it compatible with standard collet chucks and shrink-fit holders sized for 1/4 inch shanks. Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or spindle is locked out before loading the end mill. Seat the shank fully in the toolholder to the recommended gauge length and torque the collet nut or retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer's specifications. Verify runout against the TIR maximum of 0.0005 inch before initiating the cutting program.
