The SECO 03084133 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding materials including stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. At 5/32 inch (0.1563 inch) diameter with a 0.0100 inch corner radius, it is built for controlled edge-finishing and roughing operations where edge integrity is critical. The four-flute, single-end geometry combined with a high-helix variable helix design promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces. AlTiN PVD coating extends tool life in high-heat, abrasive cutting environments. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians are the primary installers and users of this tool.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where stub-length tools are required for rigidity. It performs in both roughing and finishing passes on workpiece materials in the M, S, and H material grade classifications. The stub-length configuration reduces deflection when working in tight setups. The straight cylindrical shank fits standard toolholders and collet systems. Applications include aerospace component machining, medical device manufacturing, die and mold work, and any operation involving hard or difficult-to-machine alloys.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 3/16 inch (0.1875 inch) straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for CNC machining centers and milling machines running right-hand spindle rotation. Primary workpiece materials are stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials (material codes M, S, H).
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the toolholder collet bore matches the 3/16 inch shank diameter and that the tool is seated to the recommended gauge length before tightening. Verify spindle runout does not exceed the 0.0005 inch maximum TIR specification to maintain dimensional accuracy and tool life. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended cutting parameters for the workpiece material grade being machined.
