The SECO 03083825 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding material applications. Part of the STB440.2 series, it features a 3/16 inch (0.1875 inch) mill diameter with a matching 3/16 inch straight cylindrical shank, a 3/8 inch length of cut, and a 2 inch overall length. The four-flute, single-end design uses a variable helix spiral flute geometry to reduce chatter and improve chip evacuation. An AlTiN PVD coating adds heat resistance and surface hardness, extending tool life when cutting abrasive or high-temperature alloys. Machinists and tool-and-die tradespeople select this mill for precision short-reach work where rigidity is critical.
This end mill is engineered for roughing and finishing operations in stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and other hard materials.
