It accepts two indexable inserts and delivers a maximum drill diameter of 0.750 inches (19.97 mm) with a maximum drill depth of 3.0 inches, achieving a 4xD depth-to-diameter ratio. The straight cylindrical shank measures 1.0 inch in diameter with a shank length of 2.25 inches. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation and tool life in production drilling environments. The tool body is constructed from steel and is intended for use by machinists and toolroom professionals operating CNC machining centers or manual drill presses.
This drill is suited for general-purpose drilling operations in production and job-shop environments handling ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The PerfoMAX platform is built around a modular connection size of R7, allowing integration into compatible tooling systems. The right-hand cutting direction and straight shank configuration make it a direct fit for standard spindle setups. Compatible insert styles include SCGX and SPGX, with compatible insert size codes 050204 and 0602, giving operators flexibility in insert selection based on material and feed requirements.
