The SECO 03043599 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations where a controlled corner radius and tight dimensional tolerances are required. With a 0.25 inch mill diameter, a 0.0322 inch corner radius, and an AlTiN coating, this tool handles demanding cuts in hardened and abrasive materials. The 0 degree helix angle and straight flute geometry make it suitable for applications where axial cutting forces must be minimized. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians specify this type of end mill for finishing passes and contour work where edge integrity is critical.
This end mill is built for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The extended reach neck design, with a 0.75 inch reach length and 0.218 inch neck diameter, provides clearance in deep-pocket and slotting scenarios. The stub length classification and single-end configuration make it a direct workpiece tool rather than a multi-use reversible cutter. It is sold individually and sized for use in standard 1/4 inch collets and tool holders.
Designed as a single-end corner radius end mill in the SECO SN400R series. Fits standard 1/4 inch collets and cylindrical shank tool holders. Confirm spindle speed, feed rate, and workpiece material compatibility with tooling manufacturer data before use.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe lockout state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in the collet or tool holder to the recommended engagement depth per the tool holder manufacturer specifications. Do not use this tool for center-drilling operations, as this end mill is not center-cutting.
