The SECO 03043583 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations requiring a controlled corner geometry. With a 1/8 inch mill diameter, a 0.0148 inch corner radius, and an AlTiN coating, this tool is built for high-heat, high-wear cutting environments. The 2-flute, single-end configuration with a straight flute and 0-degree helix angle suits slotting and profiling in materials where chip evacuation geometry is critical. A micrograin carbide substrate supports edge sharpness and thermal resistance. Machinists and CNC tooling technicians in job shops, aerospace, and precision manufacturing environments are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is suited for milling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a tight corner radius and extended reach are required. The 2.5 inch overall length and 0.880 inch reach length, combined with a reduced neck diameter of 0.109 inch, allow access to deep or narrow features without deflection-prone shanks. The 1/4 inch cylindrical shank fits standard ER and end mill holders. The SN200R series designation identifies it as part of SECO's small-diameter, extended-reach carbide end mill lineup. Right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC spindle setups.

Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or toolroom technicians. Secure the 1/4 inch cylindrical shank in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the collet bore and shank for contamination or wear before seating the tool. This tool is not center-cutting; avoid direct plunge moves without a pre-drilled entry point or ramping strategy.
