The SECO 03043576 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling of hardened and abrasion-resistant materials. Built on the SN200R series platform, it features a 1/16 inch (0.0625 inch) mill diameter with a 0.0074 inch corner radius and an AlTiN coating for high-temperature wear resistance. The straight flute geometry and right-hand cutting direction suit it to short-reach, high-precision profiling and slotting operations. With a 2 inch overall length and 1/4 inch cylindrical shank, this tool installs in standard collet or end mill holders on CNC machining centers. Machinists and tooling professionals in job shops, die-and-mold, and precision component manufacturing are the primary users.
This end mill is suited for small-feature finishing operations where tight corner geometry control is critical. The 0.1 mm (0.0040 inch) length of cut and 5/16 inch reach length make it appropriate for fine detail work in confined pockets and narrow slots. The extended-reach neck, with a 0.0550 inch neck diameter, allows access to features that standard end mills cannot reach. It is used in applications involving ferrous alloys, stainless, and hardened steels where the AlTiN coating provides oxidation resistance at elevated cutting temperatures.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide corner radius end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/4 inch cylindrical shank and standard ER or end mill collet systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and the tool changer is disabled before mounting or removing the end mill. Seat the shank fully in the collet or holder to the recommended gauge length before torquing the retention nut. This tool is not center-cutting; avoid plunge entry directly into solid material.
