The SECO 03007660 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. With a 3/4 inch cutting diameter and a 0.0600 inch corner radius, it delivers a controlled blend between the side wall and floor of a milled feature, reducing stress concentrations in finished parts. The 6-flute, right-hand spiral geometry supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. An AlTiN (PVD) coating provides thermal resistance and surface hardness suited to dry or semi-dry cutting conditions. Licensed machinists and CNC operators in job shop, aerospace, and production machining environments are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is engineered for use in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium — material application codes P, M, K, and S. The stub length profile and straight cylindrical shank make it compatible with standard toolholders used on vertical and horizontal machining centers. The close pitch, 6-flute configuration allows higher feed rates per tooth in materials where chip evacuation is manageable, making it a practical choice for finish-quality floor passes or light profiling cuts in tough alloys.
Designed for use with standard straight-bore toolholders on CNC machining centers. Compatible with primary workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium (material codes P, M, K, S). Part of SECO Series S638R.
Installation is performed by CNC machinists or tool and die specialists. Secure the straight cylindrical shank in a clean, properly sized toolholder bore and torque to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout against the stated TIR maximum of 0.0005 inches before beginning a cut. Do not exceed the recommended depth of cut or feed rates for the workpiece material, and confirm cutting parameters are appropriate for the coating type before running dry or with coolant.
