The SECO 03007659 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding shop environments. It carries a 3/4-inch diameter with a 0.0300-inch corner radius, six flutes, and a 38-degree helix angle. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating provides heat resistance and wear protection for extended tool life in abrasive materials. With a 1-3/4-inch length of cut and 4-inch overall length, this single-end, centercutting tool handles both roughing and finishing passes. It is part of the S638R series and is built to close pitch specs with a micrograin carbide substrate for edge integrity under load.
This end mill is suited for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium — material application codes P, M, K, and S. It fits standard toolholders with a straight cylindrical 3/4-inch shank. The right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute spiral make it compatible with conventional CNC machining center setups. The stub length classification positions this tool for rigid setups with reduced overhang, making it appropriate for production milling where vibration control and dimensional consistency are priorities.
Designed for use with standard straight-bore toolholders accepting a 3/4-inch cylindrical shank. Compatible with CNC machining centers running right-hand spindle rotation. Primary workpiece materials: Steel, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron, Superalloys, and Titanium (ISO material codes P, M, K, S).
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before inserting or removing the tool from the toolholder. Verify runout does not exceed the 0.0005-inch TIR maximum specification after seating. Follow the toolholder manufacturer torque guidelines for set screws or collet nuts to prevent slippage during cutting.
