The SECO 03007652 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. It features a 5/8 inch diameter, a 0.0150 inch corner radius, and six flutes arranged in a right-hand spiral configuration with a 38-degree medium helix. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. The micrograin carbide substrate supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. This tool is part of the SECO S638R series and is intended for use in CNC machining centers with compatible toolholders.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or tool and die technicians. Secure the straight cylindrical shank in a compatible toolholder to the appropriate clamping torque per the toolholder manufacturer specifications, and verify runout does not exceed the 0.0005 inch maximum TIR rating before cutting. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool path is programmed before engaging the workpiece. Do not exceed the rated length of cut of 1.625 inches to avoid deflection or tool breakage.
