The SECO 02960750 is a solid carbide turning insert in the SNMG-MF2 series, designed for precision metal cutting in general turning, facing, and boring operations. It carries the Duratomic CVD coating stack of TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr, which extends wear resistance across a broad range of cutting conditions. The insert features a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, a 1/32-inch corner radius, a 90-degree square shape, and a neutral hand orientation. With 8 cutting edges per insert and a chamfered and honed cutting edge style, it delivers consistent performance and long tool life in production environments. Grade TP2501 is rated for material grades P10 through P35.

This insert is suited for machining steel as its primary workpiece material, with secondary application to stainless steel and cast iron. The MF2 chip breaker geometry is optimized for medium-finish cutting passes in these materials.
