The SECO 02960476 is a CNMG643-MR7 series indexable turning insert ground from solid carbide and finished with a CVD-applied Duratomic multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr. It carries manufacturer grade TP2501 and is built for negative-rake, neutral-hand external turning operations. The insert features an 80-degree diamond shape, a 3/4-inch inscribed circle, a 3/64-inch corner radius, and a T-Land cutting edge style. Four cutting edges are available per insert. The MR7 chip breaker geometry is engineered to control chip flow across a range of depths and feed rates. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers of this insert in production and job-shop turning environments.

Installation Notes
