The SECO 02960014 is a CNMG431-FF2 indexable turning insert manufactured from solid carbide with a CVD-applied Duratomic multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr. Carrying grade designation TP2501, this insert features an 80-degree diamond shape, negative rake geometry, and a neutral hand orientation. The cutting edge is honed and the FF2 chip breaker geometry is designed to control chip flow across a range of depths and feed rates. With four usable cutting edges per insert, it delivers extended tool life in production turning environments. Licensed HVAC techs and trade machinists running CNC lathes or manual turning centers will recognize this as a standard CNMG platform insert built to ANSI and ISO dimensional standards.

This insert is suited for external and internal turning operations including boring, facing, and straight turning.
