The SECO 02959887 is a DNMG432-M6 indexable turning insert manufactured from solid carbide and coated via CVD with a multilayer Duratomic coating system consisting of TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr. Carrying manufacturer grade TP2501, this insert features a 55-degree diamond shape, neutral hand orientation, and a honed cutting edge. With four cutting edges and a 0.0315-inch corner radius, it delivers consistent performance in general turning applications. The M6 chip breaker geometry is engineered for efficient chip control across a range of feed rates and depths of cut, making it well-suited to volume machining environments operated by CNC machinists and turning specialists.
This insert is designed primarily for machining steel (ISO material code P) and is rated for secondary use on stainless steel (M) and cast iron (K), covering material grades P10, P20, P30, and P35.
