The SECO 02959843 is a VNMG331-MF2 series indexable turning insert manufactured from solid carbide and coated via CVD with a multilayer Duratomic system of TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr. It carries grade designation TP2501 and is designed for external turning, facing, profiling, and back turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. The insert features a 35-degree diamond shape (V), a neutral hand orientation, and an MF2 chip breaker geometry suited for finishing and medium turning applications. With 4 cutting edges and a chamfered and honed cutting edge style, it delivers consistent chip control across its service life. It weighs 0.02 pounds.

Insert seating and indexing should be performed with the machine powered down and the spindle locked.
