It features a 35-degree diamond insert shape with a neutral hand orientation and a honed cutting edge style. The TP2501 grade uses a CVD-applied Duratomic multilayer coating (TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr) to deliver thermal and wear resistance across a broad range of cut depths. With four cutting edges per insert and a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, this insert suits production environments where consistent tool life and repeatable finish quality are required. This insert is suited for steel as its primary workpiece material (ISO P classification) and is rated for use on stainless steel and cast iron as secondary materials (ISO M and K classifications).
