The SECO 02942333 is a corner radius end mill head designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and finished with an AlTiN coating, this head delivers strong heat resistance and extended tool life in demanding cutting environments. It features a 3/8-inch mill diameter, four spiral flutes with right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction, and a 10-degree helix angle. The single-end design is part of the MZN410R series and is installed by machinists and CNC operators working in production and job-shop environments.
This end mill head is suited for milling operations where extended reach is required. With a reach length of 1.875 inches and a neck diameter of 0.348 inches, it is well-suited for accessing deep pockets and contoured features. The 3/8-inch cylindrical shank provides a standard interface for compatible tooling systems. It is appropriate for use in light to medium material removal on ferrous and non-ferrous metals where corner radius profiles are needed to reduce stress concentrations at the base of a cut.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct tooling option for compatible modular and solid carbide end mill systems accepting a 3/8-inch cylindrical shank in the MZN410R series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer is disabled before mounting or removing the end mill head. Use the appropriate torque wrench and collet or toolholder rated for the 3/8-inch shank diameter. Verify runout with a dial indicator after mounting before initiating any cut cycle.
