The SECO 02942319 is a single-end corner radius end mill head designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and finished with an AlTiN coating, this tool delivers extended tool life in hard and abrasive materials. It features a 0.25 inch mill diameter, 4 spiral flutes, and a 10-degree helix angle. The stub length profile and extended reach design make it well-suited for profiling, slotting, and contouring operations where reach past the holder is required. It is part of the MZN410R series from SECO and is installed by machinists and CNC operators in shop and production environments.
This end mill head is intended for use in modular end mill systems compatible with the MZN410R series. The 0.25 inch cylindrical shank seats into a matching holder body. The 0.06 inch length of cut and 0.75 inch reach length suit it for shallow-depth passes in tight-tolerance work on ferrous metals, stainless steels, and similar hard materials. Right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute spiral are standard for conventional CNC milling setups. This is a single-end, non-centercutting tool and is not designed for plunge entry.
Designed for use with modular milling tool holders compatible with the SECO MZN410R series, accepting a 0.25 inch cylindrical shank diameter.
Installation is performed by machinists or CNC tooling technicians. The machine spindle must be fully powered down and at rest before changing or seating any end mill head. Use the appropriate torque wrench and holder key specified for the modular system — do not overtighten by hand or with non-rated tools. Verify runout after seating the head in the holder before resuming any cutting operation.
