The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in high-temperature cutting conditions. With a 40-degree high helix angle and a 2-flute configuration, the 02941943 promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces across a wide range of workpiece materials.

Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom professional. Ensure the toolholder bore and collet are clean and free of debris before seating the shank to achieve maximum runout accuracy. The TIR maximum for this tool is 0.0005 inches — verify runout at setup to maintain that specification. Follow machine tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety procedures when securing and indicating end mills.
