The SECO 02897910 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill designed for high-performance drilling in demanding materials. It features a 7.80 mm diameter, a 140-degree standard point, and an AlCrN coating that extends tool life in abrasive and hard workpiece materials. The overall length is 91.00 mm (3.5854 inches) with a flute length of 53.00 mm (2.0882 inches). The straight-cylindrical shank measures 8.00 mm in diameter (0.3152 inches) and is compatible with standard drill chucks and collet holders. This drill is suited for metalworking operations where tool rigidity and heat resistance are critical. It is part of the SECO SD1105A series and conforms to ANSI standards.
This drill is intended for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and other hard materials, corresponding to ISO workpiece material codes P, M, K, and H. It is a right-hand cutting, spiral-flute design with a 7xD flute-to-diameter ratio and a maximum drilling depth of 43.00 mm (2.0882 inches).
