The SECO 02897895 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in demanding industrial and metalworking applications. Ground to a 140-degree point angle with an AlCrN (aluminum chromium nitride) coating, this drill delivers high heat resistance and extended tool life when cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and other hard materials. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 8.00 mm in diameter and seats securely in standard drill chucks or collet holders. With two spiral flutes in a regular helix configuration and no coolant-through feature, this bit is suited for conventional drilling setups where external or flood coolant is applied. Part of the SD1105A series, it meets ANSI standards and carries an m7 diameter tolerance for consistent fitment.
This drill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual mills across production and job-shop environments. Apply appropriate cutting fluid or flood coolant at the entry point to maintain tool life, as this drill does not feature internal coolant-through passages.
