The SECO 02810098 is an indexable chamfer angle face mill designed for precision facing operations in metalworking and machining applications. Part of the Double Octo 05 series with cutter style R220.48, this tool accepts five ON.U 05 compatible inserts held in place by screws and features a negative rake angle of -8 degrees for controlled chip formation. It has a minimum cutting diameter of 2.48 inches and a maximum cutting diameter of 2.81 inches, with a maximum depth of cut of 0.118 inches. Through-coolant capability supports extended tool life and chip evacuation during continuous runs. The body is constructed from steel and is intended for use by machinists and toolroom professionals in production and job-shop environments.
This face mill is suited for flat surface facing on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces in both horizontal and vertical milling setups. The 3/4 inch arbor hole fits standard milling machine spindles commonly found in production machining shops.
