The SECO 02768556 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI and ISO designation XOMX10T308TR-ME07 and manufactured to grade MP3000. It is a single-sided, right-hand parallelogram-style insert from the XOMX-10 series, designed for use in shoulder milling operations. The insert features a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process over a micrograin carbide substrate, delivering wear resistance and thermal stability during aggressive cuts. With a positive rake angle of 20.4 degrees, a T-Land cutting edge style, and a 15-degree relief angle, it is engineered for controlled chip formation in demanding applications. It is installed by machinists and CNC tooling technicians in production and job-shop environments.
This insert is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, and hard materials, corresponding to workpiece material codes P, M, and H. The ME07 chip breaker geometry supports stable cutting performance across these material groups. It is screw-held in compatible cutter bodies and is appropriate for both roughing and finishing passes where consistent edge geometry is required. The insert is sold individually and carries a minimum order quantity of 10 units per order.
Compatible with SECO cutter series R217.69-10 and R220.69-10 as specified by the manufacturer. The insert size code is 10T308 and the ANSI/ISO designation is XOMX10T308TR-ME07.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing inserts. Use the appropriate Torx or hex key as specified by the cutter body manufacturer to seat the clamping screw. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before installing a new insert to ensure proper seating and edge geometry.
