The SECO 02760834 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance milling in demanding materials. It features a 6 mm cutting diameter with a 0.3 mm corner radius and 4 right-hand spiral flutes, providing a balance of surface finish quality and material removal capability. The 12 mm length of cut and 60 mm overall length suit a range of slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations. Applied with a MEGA-64 coating and ground from micrograin carbide stock, this tool is built for the elevated cutting temperatures and abrasive conditions common in stainless steel and superalloy machining. Installation is handled by CNC machinists and toolroom professionals.
This end mill is designed for roughing applications in stainless steel and high-temperature superalloys, material categories where tool wear and heat buildup are primary concerns. The extended reach configuration, with an 18 mm reach length and a 5.60 mm neck diameter, allows access to deeper features while maintaining rigidity. The centercutting geometry supports plunge entry, adding versatility in 3-axis and multi-axis machining environments. It belongs to the SECO JHP780 series, which targets difficult-to-machine aerospace and industrial materials.
Part of the SECO JHP780 series. Intended for use in stainless steel (ISO material code M) and high-temperature alloys and superalloys (ISO material code S). Fits standard straight-bore ER or hydraulic toolholders accepting a 6 mm shank diameter with h5 shank tolerance.
This tool is installed by CNC machinists using ER collet chucks, hydraulic chucks, or shrink-fit holders rated for the 6 mm shank diameter. Ensure the holder bore is clean and free of runout before seating the tool. Power down the spindle completely and follow machine lockout procedures before changing tooling. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended depth-of-cut or feed parameters for the workpiece material category.
