Product Description

The SECO 02755045 is a solid carbide turning insert in the TCMT style, designed for precision metal cutting on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. It features a triangular insert shape with a 60-degree included angle, a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, and a 1/64-inch corner radius. The insert carries a multilayer PVD TiAlN and TiN coating under the CP500 manufacturer grade, which provides wear resistance and thermal stability during high-speed turning. It is installed and changed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.

This insert is suited for turning, facing, boring, and back turning operations. Its primary target workpiece material is stainless steel, with secondary suitability for steel, cast iron, super-alloys, and titanium. It is appropriate for material grades M10, M20, and M30. The MF2 chip breaker geometry and positive rake are optimized for light-to-medium depth cuts with good chip control on difficult-to-machine alloys. It ships individually but must be ordered in multiples of 10.
