This insert carries the DCMT 21.51MF2 geometry with a CP500 manufacturer grade and a multilayer PVD-applied TiAlN plus TiN coating. The 55-degree diamond (rhombic) shape provides a sharp, positive rake cutting edge with a 7-degree relief angle. With a 0.0157-inch corner radius and a maximum depth of cut of 0.2913 inches, this insert is engineered for light, accurate finishing cuts where tight tolerances and surface finish are the priority.
