It carries the industry standard designation CCMT32.50.5-F1 (ISO: CCMT09T302-F1) and is manufactured in grade TP1030 with a multilayer TiAlSiN PVD coating. The 80-degree diamond shape and F1 chip breaker geometry deliver a sharp cutting edge with positive rake, making it well suited for light-to-medium passes on steel and stainless steel. The insert has a 3/8-inch inscribed circle and a corner radius of 0.0079 inches, supporting controlled chip formation and consistent surface finish.
This insert is intended for finishing and semi-finishing applications including turning, facing, and boring. Its neutral hand orientation fits standard CCMT-compatible toolholders used in both horizontal and vertical turning setups. Primary workpiece material is steel (ISO P10-P15); secondary workpiece material is stainless steel. The sharp cutting edge and cermet substrate perform best at moderate cutting speeds with light chip loads, particularly where dimensional accuracy and surface quality are priorities in production turning environments.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Always power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing inserts.
