The SECO 02712688 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill built for high-performance material removal in demanding machining environments. It features a 1/4 inch cutting diameter, a 1/2 inch length of cut, and three right-hand helical flutes set at a 48-degree helix angle. The SIRON-A PVD coating — an AlCrN-based finish — provides excellent heat and wear resistance at elevated cutting speeds. The centercutting design allows for plunging, ramp-down entry, and helical interpolation. This tool is suited for machinists and tooling specialists running CNC mills on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium.
