The SECO 02699134 is an indexable square-shoulder end mill designed for high-precision milling operations on machining centers and CNC mills. Part of the Power Turbo series, it features a 1 inch cutting diameter and a maximum depth of cut of 0.669 inches. The tool accepts two XO.. 1806 inserts secured by screw clamping and runs through-coolant to manage heat and chip evacuation at the cutting zone. With a 90-degree lead angle and negative rake geometry, it is suited for aggressive square-shoulder profiling and slotting applications. A licensed machinist or CNC tooling specialist typically sets up and operates this tool.
This end mill is configured with an M12 modular connection shank, making it compatible with modular tooling systems that accept M12 adapters. It is intended for use in metalworking environments including job shops, production machining facilities, and tool rooms. The overall assembly length is 1.57 inches, keeping the tool compact for tight setups. The through-coolant feature supports extended insert life and improved surface finish in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Maximum rated spindle speed is 13,800 RPM, making it appropriate for both roughing and semi-finishing passes on modern CNC equipment.
Designed for use with XO.. 1806 series indexable inserts and compatible with M12 modular connection tooling adapters. ISO designation R217.69-01.0012RE182AN applies to this tool body.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in a safe state before mounting or changing the tool body or inserts. Use calibrated torque tools when seating the modular connection and securing insert screws to avoid over-torquing or damaging the clamping thread. Verify runout with a dial indicator after assembly before beginning any cutting operation.
