The SECO 02689808 is an indexable square-shoulder face mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. Built around the Super Turbo series platform, this cutter accepts 4 inserts in the XOEX1204 or XOMX 1204 style and delivers a maximum cutting diameter of 1.5 inches with a maximum depth of cut of 0.433 inches. The cutter features a 3/4-inch arbor hole (0.750 inches) and stands 1.57 inches tall overall. Through-coolant capability is built in, supporting extended tool life and chip evacuation during demanding cuts. The cutter style is R220.69 with a 0/90 lead angle and right-hand cutting direction.
This face mill is suited for CNC machining centers performing square-shoulder milling operations in production and job-shop environments. Supported tool applications include helical interpolation, ramping, and slotting, making it versatile across a range of milling strategies. The positive axial and negative radial rake geometry promotes free cutting action on a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials.
