This insert is indexed and installed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians on CNC or manual turning equipment. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing or indexing inserts. Use the appropriate torque wrench and insert screw specified by the toolholder manufacturer — do not overtighten the clamping screw, as this can fracture the PCBN tip. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before seating a new insert.
