The SECO 02625467 is a solid carbide multi-directional turning insert in the MDT series, engineered for precision grooving and turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. This double-ended, full-radius insert carries the TGP25 manufacturer grade and features a Duratomic TiCN/Al2O3 coating applied via a controlled physical vapor and chemical vapor deposition process. The insert delivers a 0.157-inch cutting width and 0.157-inch cutting height with a 0.079-inch corner radius. The C5 material grade and Duratomic coating provide thermal resistance and edge integrity when machining cast iron, stainless steel, and steel workpieces.
