The SECO 02622994 is a solid carbide multi-directional turning insert designed for external grooving and turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Grade TGP25 features a Duratomic TiCN/Al2O3 CVD coating applied over a solid carbide substrate, providing thermal resistance and wear protection during interrupted and continuous cuts. The insert follows LCMF style geometry with a double-end configuration, a neutral hand orientation, and an MP chipbreaker. Cutting width measures 0.236 inches, cutting height is 0.177 inches, and corner radius is 0.118 inches. Material grade C5 positions this insert for use on cast iron, stainless steel, and carbon steel workpieces.
