The SECO 02615933 is a VNMG 331-MF4 series turning insert manufactured from solid carbide and coated with a multilayer TiAlN and TiN PVD coating under the TS2000 grade designation. The insert features a 35-degree diamond shape with a negative rake geometry, a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, and a 1/64-inch corner radius. It carries four cutting edges and uses an MF4 chip breaker profile designed for medium-finish turning operations. Machinists and CNC turning specialists install this insert into compatible toolholders for precision work on stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. This insert is suited for medium-finish and semi-finish turning applications in both production shop and job shop environments. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surfaces for chips or debris before installing a new edge.
