The SECO 02615903 is a solid carbide turning insert in the DNMG 432-MR3 series, grade TS2000, with a multilayer TiAlN and TiN PVD coating. It features a 55-degree diamond (rhombic) shape, a 0.5 inch inscribed circle, and a 0.0315 inch corner radius. The MR3 chip breaker geometry is optimized for roughing and medium machining operations. With four usable cutting edges and a neutral hand orientation, this insert suits high-productivity turning applications on CNC lathes. Inspect the insert pocket for chips or debris before seating a new edge to ensure full contact and prevent premature edge failure.
