The SECO 02575291 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI and ISO designation LNKT050431PPTL1-M06 in manufacturer grade F40M. This double-sided, left-hand insert features a rectangular shape with a negative rake angle of 15 degrees and a T-Land cutting edge style. The PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN coating improves wear resistance and thermal stability during interrupted and continuous milling operations. With a single cutting edge and screw-type holding method, this insert seats securely in compatible cutter bodies. It is sized for the LNKT-05 series and suits high-productivity face and shoulder milling on steel, cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium.
This insert is intended for professional machining environments where close tolerances and consistent tool life are required. Seat the insert firmly in the pocket and tighten the clamping screw to the cutter body manufacturer's specified torque using the appropriate Torx or hex key — do not overtighten, as carbide inserts are brittle. Inspect the insert pocket for chips or debris before seating a new insert. Confirm correct hand orientation before engaging the cutter in the workpiece.
