The SECO 02575290 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI/ISO designation LNKT050431PPTR1-M06 and manufacturer grade F40M. It features a rectangular shape with a 90-degree included angle, a negative rake geometry at 15 degrees, and a T-Land cutting edge style. The TiAlN and TiN dual coating is applied via PVD process, providing thermal resistance and wear protection during interrupted and continuous milling operations. Thickness measures 0.185 inches and inscribed circle diameter is 0.1969 inches. The insert is double-sided with a right-hand cutting orientation and is held in the cutter body by a screw-clamp method. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians are the primary installers.
This insert is designed for milling applications on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium. Its fine-grain carbide substrate and F40M grade designation make it well suited for general-purpose face and shoulder milling where consistent tool life across varied workpiece materials is required. The M06 chip breaker geometry supports mid-range feed rates and moderate depths of cut. The insert is compatible with the SECO 335.18 cutter series. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 10 units.
Designed for use with the SECO 335.18 cutter series. Insert designation LNKT050431PPTR1-M06 follows ISO and ANSI coding standards; verify cutter body pocket geometry and screw-clamp configuration before installation.
Installation is performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool is secured before handling or replacing inserts. Use the correct torque wrench and clamping screw specified for the 335.18 cutter body pocket to avoid insert rocking or premature edge failure. Inspect the pocket seat and clamping screw for wear or debris before seating the insert.
