The SECO 02575289 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI and ISO designation LNKT050424PPTN2-M06 in manufacturer grade F40M. This double-sided, neutral-hand rectangle insert is built for indexable milling applications and is compatible with the SECO 335.18 cutter series. The insert features a PVD-applied TiAlN plus TiN dual coating over a fine-grain carbide substrate, a negative rake angle of 15 degrees, and a T-Land cutting edge style. With two cutting edges per insert and screw-in holding, it delivers consistent performance in high-demand metal removal operations.
This insert is intended for use in indexable milling cutters in the LNKT-05 series, specifically cutter series 335.18. Primary workpiece materials include steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. Secondary applications cover cast iron and non-ferrous metals. The M06 chip breaker geometry makes it well suited for medium machining conditions across this range of materials. It is installed by machinists and CNC tooling technicians in production and job-shop environments.
Designed for use with SECO cutter series 335.18. Compatible with LNKT-05 series indexable milling cutter bodies. Primary workpiece materials: steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. Secondary workpiece materials: cast iron and non-ferrous metals.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Ensure the milling cutter body is fully de-energized and the spindle is locked before indexing or replacing inserts. Use the correct torx or hex key as specified by the cutter body manufacturer when tightening the clamping screw. Inspect the insert pocket and clamping screw for wear or debris before seating a new insert to ensure proper contact and runout.
