The SECO 02575277 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI and ISO designation LNKT050408PPTN4-M06 in manufacturer grade F40M. This double-sided, neutral-hand rectangular insert features a PVD-applied TiAlN plus TiN multilayer coating for extended wear resistance in demanding cutting environments. With four usable cutting edges and a T-Land cutting edge style, it delivers consistent performance across interrupted and continuous milling passes. The insert measures 0.3937 inches in length, 0.1969 inches in width, and 0.1850 inches thick, with a corner radius of 0.0315 inches. It is held in place by a screw-clamping method and fits cutters in the 335.18 series. Licensed machinists and CNC setup technicians install this insert during scheduled tooling changes or edge rotations.
This insert is suited for face milling, shoulder milling, and general-purpose milling operations where consistent chip formation and edge durability are required. The M06 chip breaker geometry supports medium cutting conditions. Primary workpiece materials include steel, cast iron, and superalloys and titanium. Secondary workpiece materials include cast iron and non-ferrous metals. It performs at a maximum depth of cut of 0.1969 inches and is designed to work within the LNKT-05 insert series. Applications span both rough and semi-finish milling in production and job-shop environments handling P, K, and S material groups.
Compatible with SECO cutter series 335.18. Insert series is LNKT-05. ANSI and ISO code LNKT050408PPTN4-M06 applies. Minimum order quantity is 10 units; package quantity is 1.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before rotating or replacing inserts. Use the correct torque wrench and manufacturer-specified clamping screw to seat the insert; never overtighten by hand estimation alone. Inspect the insert pocket and clamping screw for wear or damage before installing a fresh cutting edge.
