Product Description

The SECO 02566341 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI and ISO designation XOMX180612TR-M14 in the MK1500 manufacturer grade. This single-sided, parallelogram-shaped insert features a 90-degree included angle, a positive rake geometry at 15.5 degrees, and a T-Land cutting edge style. The CVD-applied Duratomic coating combines TiCN and Al2O3 layers for wear resistance in demanding cutting applications. With two cutting edges and a right-hand orientation, it is designed for face and shoulder milling operations performed by machinists and tooling technicians in production environments.

This insert is engineered primarily for cutting cast iron workpieces, corresponding to ISO material grade K. It fits the SECO XOMX-18 series and is compatible with cutter bodies in the R217.69-18 and R220.69-18 series. The M14 chip breaker geometry supports stable chip formation at the cutting depths this insert is rated for. Installation Notes
