The SECO 02526639 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI/ISO designation SNHQ120516TR4-M07 and manufactured to grade F40M with a fine-grain carbide substrate. It features a square shape with a 90-degree included angle, four usable cutting edges, and a right-hand orientation. The insert is PVD-coated with a TiAlN and TiN multilayer finish to extend tool life in demanding milling operations. Cutting edge style is T-Land with a negative rake angle of 20 degrees, providing edge strength when engaging hard and abrasive workpiece materials. The M07 chip breaker geometry supports a wide range of cutting conditions across steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium.
This insert is intended for use in milling applications on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills where square inserts in the SNHQ-12 series are required. Compatible cutter series is 335.19-12. Primary workpiece materials include steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. Secondary workpiece materials include cast iron and non-ferrous metals. The insert is held in the cutter body by a screw-clamp method and is single-sided, meaning all four cutting edges are on one face.
