The SECO 02526618 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI and ISO designation SNHQ120412TR4-M07 and manufacturer grade F40M. The insert features a square shape with a 90-degree included angle, a negative rake geometry with a T-Land cutting edge style, and an M07 chip breaker designed for controlled chip formation in demanding milling applications. Applied via PVD process, the dual TiAlN and TiN coating delivers thermal resistance and surface hardness suited to high-speed cutting. With four usable cutting edges on a single-sided insert, this fine-grain carbide tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC tooling technicians working in production or job-shop environments.
The SNHQ120412TR4-M07 insert is designed for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium. It is compatible with cutter bodies in the 335.19-12 series and targets right-hand cutting setups. Its inscribed circle of 0.5 inches and 0.1575-inch thickness fit the SNHQ-12 series insert pocket specifications. Typical applications include face milling, shoulder milling, and general-purpose milling where consistent tool life across difficult workpiece materials is required.

Inspect the insert pocket for debris or damage before seating a new edge to avoid insert rocking or premature failure.
