The SECO 02526613 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI and ISO designation SNHQ120412TL4-M07 and manufacturer grade F40M. It features a square shape with a 90-degree included angle, four cutting edges, and a left-hand orientation. The insert is PVD-coated with TiAlN and TiN for elevated wear resistance and thermal stability. A T-Land cutting edge style combined with a negative rake angle at 20 degrees and the M07 chip breaker geometry makes this insert well suited for semi-finish to finish milling operations on a range of metallic workpiece materials. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians are the primary installers.
This insert is designed for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium. Primary workpiece material codes are P, K, and S, with secondary coverage of K and N material groups. It is compatible with the SECO cutter series 335.19-12 and fits the SNHQ-12 insert series. Typical install scenarios include face milling and shoulder milling operations on machining centers where consistent chip control and edge life are required on difficult-to-machine alloys and ferrous materials.

Installation is performed by qualified CNC tooling technicians or machinists. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and the tool holder secured in a vise or holder fixture before seating or removing inserts. Use the appropriate torx or hex key to tighten the clamping screw to the tool manufacturer's specified torque for the 335.19-12 cutter body. Inspect the insert pocket and screw for damage or debris before installing a new insert to ensure proper seating and edge engagement.
