The SECO 02526593 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying manufacturer part number SNHQ110302TL4-M07 in the F40M grade. It features a square SNHQ style geometry with a 90-degree included angle, a negative rake angle of 20 degrees, and a T-Land cutting edge style. The insert is PVD-coated with TiAlN and TiN for wear resistance at elevated cutting temperatures. With four cutting edges on a single-sided body and a left-hand orientation, it is held in the cutter body by a screw clamp. The inscribed circle measures 0.4331 inches and the thickness is 0.1063 inches, placing it in the SNHQ-11 series.
This insert is intended for milling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium. It suits both roughing and semi-finishing passes where the M07 chip breaker geometry manages chip flow across a wide range of feed rates. The fine-grain carbide substrate and PVD coating make it well suited to shops running ferrous and exotic-alloy components on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers. The maximum depth of cut is 0.1024 inches, and the cutting edge effective length is 0.1063 inches.
Designed for use with cutter series 335.19-11 as specified by the manufacturer. Verify toolholder seat geometry and insert pocket orientation before installation to confirm fit.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the spindle before seating or removing inserts. Use the correct torx or hex key to torque the clamping screw to the toolholder manufacturer's specification — do not exceed the specified value or the insert seat may crack. Inspect the pocket seating surface for chips or burrs before installing a new insert.
