The SECO 02511349 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations where edge integrity and surface finish are critical. Built on the JHF980 series platform, this single-end tool features a 12 mm mill diameter, a 1 mm corner radius, and a 0.5 mm length of cut. The micrograin carbide substrate is finished with a MEGA-T coating for improved wear resistance. With a straight flute geometry and 0-degree helix angle, this end mill is optimized for specific applications where conventional spiral fluting is not appropriate. Installation and operation are performed by machinists and CNC operators in metal cutting environments.
This end mill is suited for light-depth finishing passes and profiling operations requiring a controlled corner radius. The extended reach design, with an 84 mm reach length and a 10.60 mm neck diameter, allows access to deep features or stepped pockets while maintaining rigidity. The cylindrical shank measures 12 mm in diameter, making it compatible with standard ER and hydraulic toolholders of that bore size. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional CNC milling setups. The long-length configuration supports deep-cavity work where standard-length tools cannot reach.

This tool should be installed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before tool changes. Use a properly sized and clean toolholder bore to achieve accurate runout; excess runout will accelerate wear and reduce surface finish quality. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and cutting tool manufacturer recommendations for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut for the workpiece material.
