The SECO 02505875 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI and ISO designation CCMX060304-E06, manufactured to the F40M fine-grain carbide grade with a PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN dual-layer coating. The insert features a diamond shape with an 80-degree included angle, a positive rake geometry at 15 degrees, and a honed cutting edge style. Two cutting edges are available per insert. At 0.1378 inches thick and 0.2500 inches wide, this is a compact insert suited for high-precision milling applications. The E06 chip breaker geometry controls chip formation across a range of cutting conditions. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians specify this insert for finish and semi-finish milling work.
This insert is designed for milling operations in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium. Primary material codes are P, K, and S, with secondary coverage for K and N material classes. The right-hand cutting configuration and screw-type holding method make it compatible with standard CCMX-06 series milling bodies. The maximum depth of cut is 0.2500 inches, and the cutting edge effective length is 0.2500 inches. It is a single-sided insert. Typical applications include shoulder milling, face milling, and profiling passes on CNC machining centers in job shop and production environments.

Insert installation and indexing should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician with the spindle fully stopped and machine power locked out. Use the correct Torx or hex key for the insert screw and follow the tool body manufacturer's torque guidance to avoid seat damage. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before seating a new insert. Do not mix insert grades or chip breaker styles within a single cutter body.
