The SECO 02462731 is a CHD-style cantilever clamp designed for use with indexable toolholders in turning and boring applications. It secures indexable inserts in place during cutting operations, maintaining accurate positioning and consistent tool life. The clamp is compatible with L85020-T15P clamp screws and is engineered to work with CEAR, CERL, and CER toolholder styles. Weighing 0.02 pounds, it is a lightweight precision component. Installation is handled by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians as part of routine insert indexing or replacement procedures.
This clamp is intended for use in CNC turning centers, manual lathes, and similar metal-cutting environments where indexable insert toolholders are in service. It fits specific SECO toolholder assemblies in the 00125, 00150, 00175, and 00200 series with AHD configurations ranging from the 10-16AHD through 14-16AHD sizes. It is sold individually and is appropriate for shops maintaining their own toolholder inventory or replacing worn clamping components.
Designed for use with SECO toolholder styles CEAR, CERL, and CER. Confirmed compatible toolholder assemblies include 00125 10-16AHD, 00150 12-16AHD, 00175 14-16AHD, and 00200 14-16AHD. Requires L85020-T15P clamp screws.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Before servicing the toolholder, ensure the machine is powered down and locked out per applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Use the appropriate torx or hex key as specified by the toolholder documentation when seating the clamp screw. Do not overtighten or substitute non-specified clamp screws, as this can damage the clamp seat or affect insert positioning.
