The SECO 02449036 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI/ISO designation SEEX09T3AFTN-M08 and manufactured to grade F40M with a fine grain carbide substrate. The insert is square in shape with a 90-degree included angle, a neutral rake, a T-Land cutting edge style, and four usable cutting edges. It measures 3/8 inch (0.3750 inches) in both length and width with a thickness of 5/32 inch (0.1563 inches). A dual-layer PVD coating of TiAlN and TiN provides thermal resistance and wear protection across a broad range of workpiece materials. Maximum depth of cut is 0.2795 inches. The insert is held in the cutter body by screw.
