The SECO 02440119 is a countersunk lock screw designed to secure indexable inserts in toolholders used for drilling applications. It features a Torx Plus TP7 drive and an M2.2 thread, providing a precise, low-profile fastening point that keeps inserts firmly seated under the cutting loads typical of indexable drilling tools. At 6.20 mm overall length, the screw is engineered to the tight dimensional tolerances required for indexable tooling systems. Installation requires a T07-2 key driver. This part is sold individually but must be ordered in multiples of 10.
This lock screw is intended for use with SD70 style toolholders in indexable drilling setups, commonly found in CNC machining centers and production turning environments. It is compatible with C02206-T07P insert style and fits WCMX 030208 86 and WCMX 030208 series inserts. Machinists, toolroom technicians, and CNC setup personnel working with SECO indexable drilling systems will encounter this fastener during routine insert changes and toolholder maintenance.
Compatible with SD70 toolholders and C02206-T07P insert style. Fits WCMX 030208 86 and WCMX 030208 series indexable inserts. Requires T07-2 key driver for installation.
Insert replacement and lock screw service on indexable toolholders should be performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians following the toolholder manufacturer guidelines. Power down and de-energize the machine spindle before accessing any toolholder. Use only the specified T07-2 Torx Plus driver to avoid stripping the screw head. Do not substitute driver types or apply impact tools to lock screws on indexable tooling.
