The SECO 02436215 is a countersunk lock screw designed to secure indexable inserts in milling toolholders. It features an M6 thread and a Torx Plus TP20 drive, which delivers higher torque transfer and reduced cam-out compared to standard Torx interfaces. The screw measures 13.00 mm in overall length and is used by machinists and toolroom technicians to fasten cutting inserts firmly in place during milling operations. Proper clamping force at the insert seat is critical to tool life and surface finish, making the correct lock screw selection essential for any indexable milling setup.
This lock screw is intended for indexable milling applications where precise insert retention is required. It is compatible with the R218.19-1.50/2.00 toolholder style and is driven with a T20P-4 key driver. The countersunk head design seats flush within the toolholder pocket, keeping the clamping profile low and avoiding interference with the workpiece or chip flow. It is sold individually and is a common service item kept on hand by shops running high-volume milling operations.
